Peter Brandenburger
Welcome, thanks for your interest in ROAR coaching. I founded ROAR out of my passion to help others and support the next generation of leaders. While on a ski lift, I was asked an ordinary question, “What do you enjoy about your job?” This simple exchange had a profound impact on me.
I was surprised by my gut response of “I enjoy helping people” instead of the impact or success of the programs I led. After pondering this, I started to plan ROAR. Through coaching, leadership consulting, and bringing people outdoor for retreats, ROAR is here to support your growth.
My journey to coaching started in my youth, continues to be shaped by my life experiences, and is the basis of my coaching. In my youth, you could find me climbing trees, on adventures down a trail, or drifting on some water. I continue today as I wander around the western United States to find wonderful paths or streams. I have been helping people to experience the outdoors to share in the awe, like a perfectly starry night. I bring this to ROAR to aid people in more deeply realizing the benefits of connecting to nature.
Experiential learning has shaped me as I worked through the struggles to reach triumph or sometimes failure. I enjoyed a 28-year career at a large multinational technology company which provided many opportunities to grow my managerial, leader and coaching capabilities. I have worked with many people across the globe who have taught me much about relationships, the power of individuals, and their perspectives. Inclusion begins with your self-awareness so that you understand what you want and are conscious about how you interact with others and groups. It means to empathetically engage in discussion, listen without judgement, and seek to understand. Inclusion is resisting applying your experiences and bias onto other's situations and rather help others pursue their passions. I am grateful to have created many lifelong relationships with people in many cultures and from different backgrounds who challenge me to grow my perspective of the world, and of the humans that inhabit it.
Through leading teams of brilliant engineers, I have solved difficult problems by tackling new, disruptive, and complex challenges. Leading these efforts from early chaos through to execution has built by experience and competence to meet the customers’ needs. My education includes both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University. Additionally, I am an Integral Coach certified by New Ventures West and integrative enneagram accredited practitioner with Integrative9.
My ROAR started as I was coached to express my emotions more fully. My whisper turned into a ROAR. I've also embraced the power of the R.O.A.R. which to me is Reflect, Observe, Attune, and Refresh that has guided me on my own transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I now wander with more wonder.
If you're ready to take new paths, reach new heights and find your ROAR, let me support you. Schedule a complementary call and let’s plan your next steps.
